Your Next Move (No Shortcuts)

.

.

You can’t play an instrument you don’t own yet.
You can only use whatever’s nearby.

–

You can’t become a master at your instrument.
You can only sit today and practice.

–

You can’t master music theory.
You can only learn one concept thoroughly.

–

You can’t write a song.
You can only write the next word.

–

You can’t play a melody.
You can only play the next note.

–

You can’t record a perfect take.
You can only take it from the top one more time.

–

You can’t launch your music career.
You can only send one demo tape, make one phone call.

–

You can’t make a million fans.
You can only connect to one listener.

–

You can’t eat the moon.
You can only take a single, small bite.
One bite is all it takes.

    HI Nick,
I bit off a couple pieces, chewed fairly thoroughly and enjoyed it.
I’ll be back. Loved the piece on painting over your creations.
