Tickets to Write: Songwriting Prompts Inspired by the Beatles

Matt Blick has got a great project happening over at his Beatles Songwriting Academy. The tagline says it all:
Sitting reverently at the feet of Lennon & McCartney…& then stealing their shoes.
Awesome.
I especially like the section called “Tickets to Write.” It’s stocked with ideas and prompts for songwriters, using Beatles songs as living examples for reference.  You will need a little knowledge of music theory for many of them, but not all.
Matt is a joy to interact with—leave him a comment and say hello!

Thanks for the link love my friend!

I’ve just been sneaking around twitter and I think your spike was from Ken Boer (who may read my other blog) to Bob Kauflin (who I think does sometimes). Bob has a huge following among Church musicians. Some of my biggest spike have been from that direction.

Or it could just be that the internet pixies sprinkled some awesome dust on your blog.

    One or the other.

    Stay sharp!
